Sustainability

Azulmalin creates timeless jewellery that is made to last. For us, it’s important to be aware of the negative impact that fast fashion has on the environment. Slow fashion on the other hand is conscious, mindful, and timeless rather than trendy.

We believe in a make-to-order process and small-batch production at a sustainable pace. This means that we keep a very low stock and the majority of the jewellery will be made for our customers as soon as an order comes in. For us this is more purposeful and intentional.

We aim to design jewellery of high quality and with longevity in mind. You will feel the uniqueness of our jewellery as they are thoughtfully designed to be robust, solid and nonseasonal.

All our jewellery is casted in London’s historic jewellery district, Hatton garden, and hallmarked at the Assay Office in the same area of central London.

Azulmalin Jewellery is handmade of Eco silver, which is another term for 100% recycled silver. This means that our jewellery is not made of silver that is newly mined from the ground or is a byproduct of mining of other minerals.

Eco silver is made using unwanted jewellery, scrap silver, recycled silver from electronics and medical equipment.

Eco silver will contain 92.5% pure silver just like any other sterling silver. Therefore it will have the same qualities and will be certified with a 925 hallmark stamp.

Azulmalin’s packaging is carefully selected to be as eco-friendly and simple as possible. Both our jewellery boxes and it’s filling are recyclable. Our drawstring-bags are made of eco-friendly Oeko-Tex Certified cotton and will be a good companion for your jewellery many years ahead.
The jewellery boxes and drawstring-bags are made in the UK.

We want to keep the CO2 emission as low as possible when shipping. Therefore we would be happy if our customers correctly choose the size they wish for before ordering, to prevent unnecessary distribution of jewellery.
